We planned a family vacation to Naples and my 15 year old son and I were eager to do some deep water fishing. Since we were not familiar with the area, my son got on the internet to search for guides and came across The Salt Water Cowboy. After speaking with Captain Brant and hearing his enthusiasm for the sport, we decided to book the trip. The weather was PERFECT!!! We went about 40 miles out, dropped the anchor and literally within 5 minutes, we had fish on our rods, not just fish but BIG FISH!! And for the the rest of the trip we were constantly pulling fish! It was amazing, like something we had never experienced. We caught four different types of fish. We also did the "Hook and Cook" that was made available and were glad we did...our family loved it!! What a great experience!
These guys know fishing and fish with passion. If you are considering a fishing trip, I highly recommend The Salt Water Cowboy. We absolutely cannot wait to go back next year. It's going to be a long time before we stop talking about this trip!

It does not get any better than these guys and I have fished with many of the local guides. First off the boat and equipment is the best period!! Secondly every single stop produced fish - we were catching fish the entire trip Big Ones too not little bitty fish like many guides think they can bait a customer with (no pun intended) - if you want to catch fish, ride in first class, use the best equipment, then book these guys now!! Deep Sea Adventure

Took my brother and kids out with Captain Brant & Captain Sean - the seas were rough as tropical storm Alex was pushing wind - but the boat was dry and solid - these guys know how to fish for BIG fish - we landed several nice keeper grouper and amberjack as well as releasing an 8 foot shark and several goliath grouper. When we returned to the docks it was clear we made the right choice fishing with these guys as the other charters caught virtually nothing of any size. I highly recommend these guys to anyone who is serious about catching fish.

Trip of A Lifetime

| I was referred to Saltwtaer Cowboys by a good friend who fished earlier in the year with them. Their boats are pure fishing machines and ride fast and dry. We limited out on BIG red grouper and they didn't watch the closk as we continued to catch snapper and kingfish. My goal was to catch the biggest fish yet and these guys helped me do just that. | I fish when i can down in Naples/Marco and I must sya that there are many good charters and even more that are not. The Saltwater Cowboy team made me feel comfortable from the start, great equipment and their attitude was awesome. While it was hard to get bait the firstmate Sean went the extra mile to load the well. We ran quickly and dry to the first spot and it wasn't 5 minutes before the fish were on, Big fish too. Caught my first smoker king over 30 pounds with these guys. They never watched the clock and I swear they had as much fun watching me and helping us as we did. 5 Stars.

As a Captain on the Naples waters I can personally say that the negative reviews are bogus - you'd think these old Captains would act more like men than boys - Grow Up Bailey once and for all! I have fished with and know plenty of people who chartered the Saltwater Cowboys and they are seasoned professionals with great boats and they catch fish. They are in Coastal Angler Magazine, Florida Sportsman, and ESPN Onlie - that's how good they are. They guarantee fsih! Try them You'll be glad you did. |

| The SWC team rocks - yeah their younger guys 40's but who cares the boats are the best and the gear too - but that in't the half of it - this aint no floating down a channel or going only 5-8 miles out in a tug boat - this is balls to the walls fishing!! If you don't like to fish for big game fish then stay home - better for those us of that do!! Last year we purchased in Naples and have been searching for the right team to partner up with to pursue the great fishing opportunities the Gulf coast has to offer. On Thursday, April 22Nd we found our crew. We left Wiggins pass at 8 am and began our search for bait. Conditions were beautiful, blue skies, calm seas and a light breeze to keep us comfortable. The boat was immaculate and it took little time to confrim these guys are the pros. Bait was not visible to the eye but Capt. Bob's experience allowed Capt. Sean to fill his net while our competition was coming up empty. We quickly filled the well with the necessary bait and with the comfortable and fast cruising speed of the regulator headed out to the gulf. Once arriving we were quickly greeted with bent rods although less then a 100 yards away our neighbors watched in frustration. While we were having a great time catching and releasing amberjacks a Goliath Grouper passed under the cowboy -Capts Bob and Sean were quick to react and baited a hook with a 8 lb jack - within minutes our big rod was bent in half from the power of the 400 plus pound grouper that was bought to the boat after a tough battle, then properly vented and released by the crew - still not content to rest - Bob and Sean chummed up the mangroves and the slaughter was on - the action was non-stop and continued until the anchor was back on board - the cooler was filled for the trip back to Jersey

We found Saltwater Cowboy Charters on the www. Called and discussed our desires for a fun day with the family as well as a chance to pull on some really big fish. We had already called four other places but, we had a good feeling about Capt. Brant. What I liked was Capt. Brant’s “great confidence”, they were $100.00 more than the rest but, I felt” What the heck… It’s our vacation”. We booked the eight hour Ultimate and had Capt. Brant bring his first mate Gator, what a hoot his guy is, stories about swimming with gators, fishing the “back waters, so far back they had to pipe in sunshine…” at any rate these two are a great team. We never wanted for anything, warmer clothing, blankets, beverages, sunglass cleaners, you name it. This was like a five star hotel on the water with fish being the center of attention. And boy, can these two men fish! They helped us in ways 99% of the people would have never thought of, I will be able to apply some of their logic to the Musky and Walleye back home. The boat was fantastic and the facts that they put a big emphasis on safety made my wife Sharon feel much better.
The days catch was four Red Grouper and five Gag Grouper, ten grunts (don’t let the name fool you, these are delicious) and seven Snapper up to 5 lbs. We also released about a 100 fish due to either the size or the fact that Gator and Brant do not want to kill any fish that is not going home for dinner tonight!

Went out with Captain Brant and first mate Gator - the weather was terrible but these guys have no holes in their lining and fished incredibly hard. We caught keeper Grouper, King Fish, yellow tail and more in seas that topped four feet easily. One of the best trips ever, so I booked them for a back water trip too and through the rain and wind of a cold front weekend they delivered snook, mangrove snapper, big drum, and some of the largest jacks i have ever seen!! Book a trip they will not disappoint.

I have fished on a lot of charter boats in the US and abroad- the Saltwater Cowboy clan is unmatched - here is the secret - these guys are all USCG Captains and they actually love to fish,I found out these guys used to only take a few private charters a year and primarily spent their time fishing SKA tournaments - so it isn't a job to them. They also go to the spots that are not over fished by all the tourist trap charter boats. Their boats and equipment are amazing no corrosion rust, or wear and tear, its all first class. Now they are full time for the public's pleasure, so if you like the finer things in life splurge and hire a first class ride and crew. Called to book an offshore trip for grouper and snapper with the Saltwater Cowboy gang and man was that the best thing I did all vacation. The first mate Gator is a blast and knows how to fish and as for Captain Brant – holy cow did he put us on fish!! Not only do these guys have a first class ride (the boat is awesome and new) but the gear was first class too. I was fishing with an $800 rod reel combo (I shopped it when I got home) and caught the biggest Grouper in my history of fishing. I have gone on several fishing adventures both inshore and offshore with the Saltwater Cowboy motley crew and we have always caught an abundant share and variety of fish. I told Brant that we wanted to catch BIG fish. Capt. Keller put us on a fishing hole one morning that gave us more than we ever expected. What a workout, we reeled in monster barracuda that hit our bait for about an hour. Then minutes later, my line took off and I hooked into a 3-foot long Kingfish that gave me the run of a lifetime. By far, it was the biggest King that I have ever caught. We also hooked several gag grouper, snapper, and some goliath grouper that weighed more than me! Growing up as a fresh water and inshore fisherman (due to the fact my dad gets deathly sea sick), I had no idea the offshore fishing in our area was so incredible. That mentality changed instantly when a 35 lb + “smoker” crushed a blue runner and started peeling line!!! I have fished on a lot of charters on both coasts, but it seems in Naples the boats are older the rods/reels not so great and the trip doesn’t produce the monsters of the sea you hope for instead you run out 5-7 miles and catch smaller fish. At least that has been my experience in Naples – BUT NOT ANYMORE – Saltwater Cowboy Charters rocks!! I could have eaten off the deck of the boat – the center console was clean Regulator is an incredible boat to boot. These guys love to fish I could feel it the minute I stepped on board; and catch fish – holy cow monster goliaths, grouper and snapper – I can’t wait to hook up with them during King season!! I stumbled across this service by accident but man am I glad I did. I wanted to go offshore with my dad and uncle, this was perfect the boat is like new, fast and comfortable ride to boot. Our 5 fisherman were comfy and dry not easy in 3 footers. We wanted to do serious offshore and boy did we come to the right place we fished by some air force tower which by estimates is 25 miles offshore – and then we blasted another 15 miles west and I caught the biggest snapper of my life and my dad got the biggest Grouper he has ever caught.
